作家かみやかなこさんの幼少期の体験から、「天国と行き来できたらいいのにな」という思いがきっかけになり、この絵本が生まれました。
他の誰の気持ちに寄り添い、夢を応援する主人公のワニ少年の心模様が描かれています。
亡くなった人が心の中で支えになってくれている。
そんな優しい感情を、物語の中で見つけてもらいたい、死や別れには悲しさやこわさを越える何かがあると伝えたい、と願いながら、製作した作品です。
